Dr. Vivian D' Almeida is an orthopaedic surgeon located in Mangalore who is specialised in joint replacement and arthroscopic key hole surgeries . He is currently working as a faculty in Fr. Muller Medical College Hospital , Mangalore.
Having completed his MBBS from St. John's Medical College, Bangalore he finished his MS in orthopaedics in 2009. He subsequently completed his MRCS , from the ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS , Ireland in 2010 and was awarded the MRCS from the ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS, England in 2011. He completed his fellowship in Knee surgery from Paik Hospitals , Seoul in 2012. He also underwent training in sports medicine at Ortho one Hospital , Coimbatore and Hospital for Joint Diseases, New York University the following year.
His expertise mainly involve hip and knee replacement surgeries , ligament injuries and fracture fixation. He performs a wide array of procedures which are patient specific with personalised patient care catering to people belonging to every strata of the society . He is a part of a team initiative having a spine and hand specialist within his clinic at Ortho 1, located at the heart of Mangalore city.
